This collection of India travel photography and landscape photography has been produced over two trips to a country that I am now completely obsessed by!
During the first trip, I shot a pilot episode for my youtube channel, Photo Escapes. Those behind the scenes photography films can be seen here. The first few days were spent photographing the impressive traditional Chinese fishing nets in Fort Kochi, drinking tea and chatting to fishermen. From there I headed further along the coast to Varkala, where a pattern started to develop as I found myself yet again befriending the local fishermen, helping them with their nets and sharing the images of them dragging in their 2km long fishing nets. The final mini adventure was a 3 day landscape photography road trip by scooter, to explore the stunning mountain scenery around Munnar. It's steep slopes covered in a blanket of tea plantations did not disappoint!
The second trip to India was to capture images for the Dumball Rally, a charity rally raising money for the teenage cancer trust. I managed to find a few days either side to explore and photograph iconic Taj Mahal, fascinating Hindu ceremonies in Varanasi and the stunning white sand beaches of Goa.
